Player eligibility and playing conditions are set down in the New Zealand Curling Association Tournaments Procedures and the WCF Rules of Curling.
Eligibility: To be eligible to enter this tournament, entrants must be 50 years of age or older on June 30th, 2025.
Teams must be available to play from 8.30 am on Thursday, August 14th. However, the draw will depend on entries.
Teams are advised NOT to book any flights until the draw is confirmed.
All entrants must be affiliated with a Club. Please contact the NZCA Secretary for more details.
The tournament draw will be confirmed a week after entries close or as advised.
Teams must start with four players unless in special circumstances with prior approval from the Chief Umpire; otherwise, they will default each game until they can start with four.
To allow time for ice preparation, no team is allowed to practice on the ice later than 3 hours before the commencement of an NZCA National Curling Championship or as advised in the tournament rules accompanying the draw.
No competitors can use MAP sponsorship ice a week leading up to the NZ Seniors.

Fees
The team entry fee is $400.
The skip (or a nominated team member) is responsible for paying NZCA.
Teams can pay online with entry or directly to NZCA: 03-1733-0116697-00. Please use your team name and 'Seniors' as reference details.
Invoices are available on request.
Teams must have paid their entry fee before the tournament commences; otherwise, they may be unable to take the ice.
Entries for the 2025 Senior Men's and Women's Championship will open on Friday, April 25th, and close on Monday, June 30th. Please ensure you read the 2025 Entry Notes for information regarding the organisation of the Championship.
