Winter is coming

17 May 2017 – There's snow on the ground in Naseby. So it must be time to register for tournaments and camps, and for prospective NZ representatives to send self-nomination forms to the selectors.

The first national tournament for 2017 is the NZ Mixed Fours Championship, to be held in Auckland during Queens Birthday Weekend (4-5 June).

The following month will see the NZ Men's and Women's Championships in Dunedin (6-9 July), and the following weekend the NZ Under-21 Championships will be in Naseby (14-16 July).

Entry to these tournaments is open now; click on the links above for more information.

Naseby will host the 2017 Junior Training Camp in the week between the Nationals and Under-21 tournaments (11-12 July). The camp is recommended for all curlers planning to enter the Under-21 tournament, but is not restricted to just this group. All junior curlers are encouraged to attend.

The NZCA will cover ice hire for the camp, but travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants. North Island curlers will receive $200 to subsidise their travel costs.

Entries will be open soon for the NZ Mixed Doubles and NZ Seniors Championships.
