Want to play at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics?

1 Apr 2022 – In January 2020 New Zealand competed in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Switzerland. Our curling team placed 4th in the World in the Mixed tournament, an exceptional result.

Are you interested in representing New Zealand at the next Youth Olympics? The NZ Curling Association is seeking expressions of interest from youth who would like to curl for New Zealand at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea.

Competitors must be born in the years 2006 to 2009 (i.e., turning 15, 16, 17, or 18 in 2024).

Update Dec 2022 – nomination criteria

NZCA is hosting three Training Camps at Naseby's MCI Rink for students who are interested. There is no cost to participants. If you are interested in competing in the Youth Olympic Games 2024 (YOGs) it is strongly advised that you register and attend all three training camps. If you have previously registered, please re-register below to affirm your interest.
