29 Jun 2019 – This year's NZ Curling Training Camp will run on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 July at the MCI rink in Naseby.
This is the week between the NZ Open Championships (4-7 July) and the NZ Under-21 Championships (12-14 July), both also in Naseby.
It is important for all young curlers in contention for the 2020 Youth Olympic Games to attend, and others competing in the NZ Under-21 Championships are also strongly encouraged.
There is no cost to participants. Travel assistance will be offered to attendees who are not from Central Otago.
The camp will run from 10:00 am to 4:30-5:00 pm both days.
Accommodation and Transport
Travel, accommodation, and meals must be arranged by the camp participants.
- The NZ Curling Association has agreed to meet the cost of ice hire for the camp and to contribute $200 towards travel costs for those travelling from the North Island, and $50 for those from Dunedin. Details will be advised at the camp.
