27 Mar 2017 – If both the demand and calibre of entries for the curling at this year's Audi quattro Winter Games NZ is anything to go by then the 2017 edition should easily be the best yet.

"We've never seen the curling tournament full this early in the piece," said Games Sport Manager Iona Bentley.

With six of the top ten ranked teams in the world having signed up, the talent on show and level of competition will take the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ to a whole new level.

25 Aug 2016 – Today marks exactly one year to the opening of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ 2017.

Naseby will again host a top-level Mixed Doubles tournament in one of the world's premier winter sports events.

Already many of the top curling nations are keen to enter as a key part of their build-up to the 2018 Winter Olympics that will follow just a few months later. PyeongChang 2018 will be the first Winter Olympics to feature Mixed Doubles, so expect to see many of the world's best in action in Naseby.

16 May 2016 – The 5th edition of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ will be held from 25 August - 10 September 2017, a move which will see the event begin a week later and run a week longer than in previous years.

The move has been strongly endorsed by the local tourism and accommodation sectors.

Consultation with both domestic and international teams has also been very positive.
